Stockity Error or Won't Load: How to Diagnose and Fix It
An error message or a page that fails to load when you open Stockity can appear for many different reasons. Before you panic or assume something is wrong with your account, it helps to know that most disruptions are temporary and come from your own device or network rather than from the platform’s servers. This guide helps you diagnose the source of the problem systematically, from the easiest things to fix to the ones outside your control.
Keep in mind that this guide is an independent navigational reference and not the official Stockity website. Stockity is a fixed-time trading (binary options) platform that is considered high risk; most retail users lose money. Its operator, Verte Securities Limited (Vanuatu, reg. 700726), holds an offshore license from the VFSC and is not registered with Bappebti or supervised by OJK. Read more on the regulation page.
Recognizing the Type of Error
The first step is to read the message that appears, because each type points to a different cause.
| Symptom | Likely Cause | Priority to Check |
|---|---|---|
| White page / won’t load | Internet connection or cache | Network, cache |
| “Connection timed out” | Slow or blocked network | Network, DNS |
| Chart not moving | Server-side / WebSocket issue | Wait, check status |
| App closes on its own (crash) | Old version or full memory | Update the app |
| Error after login | Expired session | Log in again |
Step-by-Step Diagnosis
- Check your internet connection. Open another website to confirm the internet is working. If it is slow, switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi or vice versa.
- Reload and clear the cache. In the browser, press Ctrl+F5 (or Cmd+Shift+R). If it still fails, clear the cache and cookies for that domain.
- Try incognito mode. This disables extensions that might block scripts. If it works in this mode, an extension such as an ad blocker is the culprit.
- Try another device or browser. If it works on another device, the problem is with the first one.
- Check the app side. For app users, make sure the latest version is installed. See the app guide for details on supported platforms.
- Possible server side. If every step fails and other people are affected too, the disruption is likely on the server side. In that case, all you can do is wait.
Common problems & fixes
- Problem: The page keeps spinning (loading) endlessly. Fix: Clear the cache, turn off any VPN/proxy, and try a different network. VPNs often trigger blocking or slowdowns.
- Problem: An unknown, specific error code appears (TODO: verify). Fix: Note the exact code, take a screenshot, then contact official Stockity support. Never share your password with anyone.
- Problem: You can log in but transactions are rejected. Fix: This may relate to balance, account verification, or the market hours of a specific asset. Check your balance on the deposit page and your account status.
- Problem: The error only happens on office/campus networks. Fix: A network firewall may be blocking the domain. Use a private network.
- Problem: The app crashes repeatedly. Fix: Uninstall and reinstall the app, restart your device, and make sure there is enough storage space.
If the problem persists for more than a few hours even though your connection is normal, it is most likely a temporary disruption on the platform’s side and not something you can fix yourself. Avoid trying to deposit repeatedly while the platform is erroring, because that risks creating duplicate transactions.
